Award-winning designer, Sau Kuan’s professional strengths are in Chinese design trends and markets. She has won 2nd Prize in the Taiwan Chinese Tea Packaging Design Competition and a Merit Award in Poster Design for a Computer Exhibition Competition in Singapore. She has also been frequently invited to adjudicate at the "Lian Hao Jian Po" International Children's Art Competition as well as other art design competitions.
A dedicated educator of design at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Sau Kuan has mentored numerous students who have become outstanding designers. Her research areas include the Chinese word and poem, as well as the integration of new media and traditional drawing. In addition to her education work, she is also actively involved in producing art works which are exhibited internationally, notably at the "Minchua Collect" in Taiwan.
