To date, Poh Teck has held 4 solo exhibitions including “The Performance Space” in Sydney in 1996 and has represented Singapore in many international workshops and symposiums. Some of which include the 6th Asian Youth Painting Workshop and Exhibition in Brunei Darussalam (1988), Australia and Regional Artist's Exchange 89-Metro Mania in Australia (1989), New Generation Contemporary Singapore Art Exhibition and Symposium in Japan (1990), and Artists in Residence in the National Gallery of Victoria in Australia (2000).

He has won many awards including the Australian Art Award Scholarship in 1986 and the Grand Prize in the 9th UOB Painting of the Year Competition in 1990.

In 1997, Poh Teck was also the recipient of the "The Young Artist Award" from the National Arts Council for his outstanding achievements in the Arts.
