Award-winning artist, Chng Keng Beng specialises in oil painting. His recognition began in 1985 and again in 2003, when he won the Distinction Award in the UOB Painting of the Year Competition.

Following his first win, Keng Beng pursued a Master’s Degree in Paris, and continued his career as a practising artist in Paris for thirteen years. Fluent in French, Chinese and English, Keng Beng has since been lecturing at the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts from 1999 to present. His works have been exhibited in major exhibitions, notably the Nokia Singapore Art Exhibition (2001), New Finds at MICA (2003), and the Singapore Art Show (2005). His most recent exhibition is “Milieu” (2014), a group show featuring Fine Art lecturers of the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts at Sculpture Square.

Apart from being an artist and a lecturer, Keng Beng has also worked as an artist consultant and illustrator for 家园 I (2004), 家园 II ~ 人在路上 (2010), and Singapore Bible College (2012). In addition, Keng Beng has been a frequent judge for artistic competitions, such as “Good Neighbour Award” organized by HDB (2014) and 《邻里合作社》, a MediaCorp TV production in collaboration with HDB ­­ (2013).
