Passage Through Time – Then, Now and Beyond is a community-driven exhibition celebrating the Senja-Cashew precinct’s evolution. Located at Senja-Cashew CC, the exhibition explores the neighbourhood’s past, present, and future through stories, photos, and interactive displays. Designed by Year 3 NAFA Arts Management students as part of their Industry Project, it offers visitors of all ages a chance to engage with local heritage and contribute their dreams for the future. The exhibition launches in mid and will travel across community centres and malls before a portion is permanently installed at the CC. Organised by NAFA and the Senja-Cashew Citizens’ Consultative Committee, it is a heartfelt tribute to community identity and collective memory.

The Arts & Design Practice Research Exchange (ADPRex) is Southeast Asia’s first annual conference dedicated to practice research. NAFA’s School of Fashion Studies has been commissioned by the NDP 2025 organising committee to design costumes for the opening programme and a special segment highlighting emerging Singaporean artistes. The costumes will be worn by performers, including singers of the NDP 2025 theme song and dancers from the Maya Dance Company. NAFA has been tasked with designing 14 costume sets.

INterSPACE presents a bold fusion of dance, theatre, and experimental performance created by NAFA’s BA (Hons) Performance Making students. As part of the Singapore Night Festival 2025, this interdisciplinary showcase reimagines the boundaries of performance by weaving movement, narrative, and unexpected artistic elements. The works reveal a spirit of innovation and resilience, reflecting students' exploration of form and expression. Taking place at the NAFA Campus 1 Foyer, the performances transform the space into a laboratory of ideas and experimentation. INterSPACE captures the essence of SG60 by highlighting how creative practice continues to evolve across disciplines and generations.

Dandelion is an immersive light installation that explores the poetic intersection between humanity and technology. Composed of 3000 fibre optic strands and motion-sensitive sensors, the sculpture responds organically to human presence, glowing and shifting in a mesmerising dance of light.
Inspired by its namesake, Dandelion captures the ethereal beauty of seeds scattered by the wind, just like NAFA students who take flight from Singapore to flourish across the world. As the installation transforms with each interaction, it whispers a quiet invitation: “Dare to dance like a dandelion in the wind”, calling upon the audience to move with hope, lightness, and fearless possibility.

HueManity invites you to see Singapore through new lenses—where red fades into deep blue waters, light reveals and conceals, and the world shifts depending on who's looking. Set across three windows on Bencoolen Street, the installation layers illustrations of local folklore, marine life, and the role of colour in our society. Using chromatic filters and modified light, it explores how perception changes with context. By rethinking how and what we see, Huemanity invites reflection on the many viewpoints that shape the shared Singaporean experience that is dynamic and ever-changing.

During this performance across two NAFA-produced festival exhibits, lanky long-legged beings dance around a giant Dandelion, and show you the colours of Huemanity — as choreographed by NAFA alumna Beverly Wan in costumes designed by fashion student Tansii Mui.
The Stilts Walkers (Singapore) proudly represent the spirit of traditional Chinese folk arts, combining skill, coordination and festive energy to tell stories. This cultural performance troupe of passionate individuals from all walks of life aims to bring heritage to life through movement, joy and dizzying heights of stilt walking — rising above the ground, yet staying rooted in tradition.
