Presented by NAFA’s Faculty of Art & Design, The Grad Expectations is more than a graduation showcase—it is a platform that celebrates the creativity, ambition, and evolving practices of emerging artists and designers.
This year marks a significant milestone, bringing together the inaugural graduating cohort of the Master of Fine Arts Fine Art and BA (Honours) Biophilic Design, alongside graduates from BA (Honours) Fine Art and BA (Honours) Design Practice, as well as diploma programmes in Fine Art, 3D Design, Design & Media, and Fashion Studies—creating a series of showcases that celebrate the full spectrum of creative voices.
Across disciplines, the showcase brings together diverse perspectives, experimental approaches, and responses to contemporary concerns. Ideas unfold through process and exploration, where boundaries are tested, conventions are questioned, and new narratives take shape as these graduates move into what comes next.
