Presented by the NAFA School of Art & Design (SOAD), The Grad Expectations 2021 showcases original works created by our graduating diploma and degree students from the programmes of 3D Design, Design & Media, Fashion Studies and Fine Art. The Diploma & Degree Show will present over 700 works by these up-and-coming artists and designers. A virtual opening on 10 June 2021, 7pm will celebrate the event and allow audiences worldwide to view opening speeches from students and faculty, as well as observe the awards presentation.
The Best of Best Show 2021 distills and features some of the finest works by graduating SOAD students. Held from 8 to 18 July, this iteration presents 27 selected pieces by young artists and designers from SOAD’s four programmes. The exhibition’s curatorial framework focuses on the diversity and versatility of the cohort’s final-year projects — to flex and evolve, both in real time and in the long run. In this collection of ideas, thoughts and strategies, we explore how these emerging art practitioners and creatives can play a role in making the world a better and more meaningful place.
