The Girls in Red Headscarves

The Girls in Red Headscarves explores the lives of a group of young women working on a construction site in Singapore during the founding period of the Republic. Defined by their iconic red headscarves, these young women’s stories are not only of their lives and loves, but they also tell the story of the birth of Singapore.

Duration: Approximately 100 minutes with no intermission
