Discover the colourful world of Singapore children's books at the Singapore Children's Book Festival (SCBF) 2026. Open to families, educators, book lovers and curious visitors of all ages, the festival showcases a vibrant collection of locally published children's books, original illustrations and visual storytelling by both established creators and emerging talents. Through the Illustrators Gallery and exhibition spaces, visitors can explore the creative process behind children's books and experience the rich imagination, artistry and stories that shape Singapore's literary landscape.

A key highlight of the festival is the showcase of books illustrated by NAFA students through the Student Illustrator Book Prize. Developed in collaboration with local publishers, the initiative gives students from NAFA's Diploma in Illustration with Animation the opportunity to illustrate unpublished manuscripts, with selected projects progressing towards publication. This year's festival features the launch of Finding Missing Mali and Stepping Into a World of Wonder, bringing student-created illustrations from page to publication and offering visitors a glimpse into the next generation of children's book creators.

Beyond the exhibition, visitors can enjoy storytelling sessions, author and illustrator talks, hands-on art and craft activities, and children's workshops designed to spark creativity and a love for reading. Whether you are a parent, educator, aspiring illustrator or simply someone who enjoys a good story, the Singapore Children's Book Festival offers an inspiring celebration of books, art and imagination. Join us at NAFA Campus 2 from 19 to 21 June 2026, with the exhibition continuing until 3 July 2026.
