Dayn Ng Chee Yao graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) - Royal College of Music, London in 2015 with a Bachelor in Music (Honours), majoring in music composition under the tutelage of Dr. Zechariah Goh Toh Chai and Professor Kenneth Hesketh.
Dayn has attended masterclasses by Professor Barry Conyngham (Dean, Victorian College of the Arts and Music at the University of Melbourne) and Professor William Mival (Head of Composition, Royal College of Music, London).
Dayn has been active in live classical and studio multi-track audio recordings, composing for ensembles, orchestras (such as the Singapore Chinese Orchestra) and theatre productions. His latest works include arranging for Mediacorp's drama series “起飞 Cresendo”.
Dayn is currently a Producer at House of Music as well as the composer-in-residence of MUSA.
