This double-bill exhibition held in conjunction with the NAFA Open House is a hybrid of two different showcases, Flagship Genius and Ayutthaya III. It represents and demonstrates not only the creative potential of interdisciplinary artmaking within the academy, but also features outcomes of the annual collaborative project between the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts (ISEAA) and the academic schools at NAFA. In its third instalment using Ayutthaya as a subject matter and area of focus, the academy-wide project continues to involve existing modules including interdisciplinary studies across schools. In incorporating the traditions and historical legacy of Ayutthaya, students are compelled to offer creative responses and outcomes that define unique Southeast Asian elements in design and the arts.
