In conjunction with the NAFA Open House, this hybrid of two different showcases, Flagship Genius and Ayutthaya II, represent and demonstrate the creative potential of interdisciplinary artmaking within the academy. This double bill exhibition showcases a panorama of talent in artmaking from NAFA’s Fine Art, 3D Design, Design & Media and Fashion Studies Programmes, as well as the outcomes of students who participated in the academy-wide project using Ayutthaya as a creative stimulus and subject matter. Jointly managed and programmed by the Institute of Southeast Asian Arts and the academic schools at NAFA, students were involved not only in lectures and workshops, but were also introduced to the topic of Ayutthaya in their curriculum and modules.
