Dandelion is an immersive light installation that explores the poetic intersection between humanity and technology. Composed of 3000 fibre optic strands and motion-sensitive sensors, the sculpture responds organically to human presence, glowing and shifting in a mesmerising dance of light.
Inspired by its namesake,
Dandelion captures the ethereal beauty of seeds scattered by the wind, just like NAFA students who take flight from Singapore to flourish across the world. As the installation transforms with each interaction, it whispers a quiet invitation: “Dare to dance like a dandelion in the wind”, calling upon the audience to move with hope, lightness, and fearless possibility.
