In collaboration with King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi’s Social and Cultural Innovation Lab, a three-day Artist-in-Residence workshop was conducted for 3D Design students who specialise in Object and Jewellery Design at NAFA. The workshop introduced the industry culture and craft of the bamboo, where students learnt about marrying design with techniques in crafting bamboo objects and daily products using creative and meaningful ways. This exhibition consequently showcases the different processes in working with bamboo - from understanding patterns and structures, to weaving a complete product.
