The Art of Acting 2: Working Towards a Performance
(6 sessions x 3 hours)This intermediate course is designed for students who have gone through foundational acting techniques and are ready to deepen their craft. Through a rigorous combination of exercises, ensemble activities, and rehearsal process, students will refine their skills in character development, text analysis, and emotional authenticity. The course emphasises creativity, performance techniques at an intermediate level, and the development of a personal acting methodology and culminates in a polished final presentation.
This course is recommended for learners who have successfully completed The Art of Acting: A Beginner’s Journey course. For learners who did not complete the course, they are required to have undergone structured acting education or have prior professional acting experience. Applicants must be able to provide documentation to support this in order for their course application to be considered.
Learning Outcomes:At the end of this workshop, learners will be able to:
- Master intermediate acting techniques
- Demonstrate confident stage presence
- Collaborate effectively in group performances
- Explore creative expression through simprovisation
A digital certificate will be issued upon successful course completion, which requires a minimum attendance rate of 75%.
