Pamela began ballet with Mdm Cai Guo Ying at the NAFA School of Young Talents (SYT), Junior Dance Department. She also studied ballet under Ms Elena Kanevskaia and Mr Ng Kin Wee. She later pursued dance professionally and graduated with a Diploma in Dance (Teaching) from NAFA in 2010. During which, she studied under Dr Caren Carino, Ms Gilian Tan, Mr Jamaludin Bin Jalil, Mr Michael Teichmann, Mdm Lim Fei Shen, Ms Grace Leong, Mr Aaron Khek, Ms Selina Tan, Mr Ricky Sim and Ms Silvia Yong. She also performed in the department's productions: Crossings, The Third Space Series and Dancers’ at Work.
In 2009, Pamela interned with the National Arts Council for the prestigious Genee International Ballet Competition by the Royal Academy of Dance, which was held in Singapore. She also served as the Secretary of the World Dance Alliance, Singapore (2009-2011) and was the company’s manager of T.H.E Dance Company (2009-2012). During her time with the company, they toured extensively to various international dance festivals in Paris, Dubai, Korea, Poland, among others and together they inaugurated the annual Contact, a contemporary dance festival.
Currently, Pamela teaches dance in schools and studios and enjoys working with students from all age groups and also those with special needs.
