Wei-An first started dancing at 14. He used to watch music videos when he was supposed to be doing his homework instead. That was how it all began, and his dance journey has since taken him all the way to Frontier Danceland, the company he is currently with.
Wei-An picked up dance in various places: from friends, at Victoria Junior College, at LADC Dance Company and at NAFA, where he studied ballet and modern dance, moving out from hip-hop and breaking that he was familiar with. Today, he seeks to find his own voice in dance by bringing together all the styles he has learnt. This search, Wei-An says, is not just about dance but about "pulling together the threads of beauty and awesomeness that God used to make life".
