Biography

Leo Joseph has a wealth of experience in teaching the English language at the tertiary level in Singapore and overseas. With two master’s degrees in English, a specialist diploma in applied learning and teaching (SDALT) and several WSQ certificates, he has earned an excellent track record in assuring student success through proven competencies in English language and literature. In addition, Leo has an extensive background in developing and implementing special programmes for second language learners, working adults, students and teachers who are racially and ethnically diverse.

Notable institutions he has lectured in are Singapore Polytechnic, Ngee Ann Polytechnic, University of Buffalo-SIM, University of Illinois Springfield-SSTC, and Waseda Shibuya Senior High School. He is acclaimed for teaching courses like College Writing, Promotional Writing, World Literature, Communication and Contemporary Issues and many more at the diploma and degree level. He also provides training courses to primary and secondary school teachers from Thailand and Southeast Asian nations regularly.
