Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), University of the Arts Singapore (UAS), announces the launch of its annual Open House on 23 and 24 January 2026, from 10am to 5pm. The event welcomes aspiring artists, designers, performers, musicians, and creatives of all backgrounds to explore, connect, and be inspired. Across two days, visitors can explore NAFA’s vibrant campuses, experience student showcases and performances, and engage directly with faculty and students to learn more about the academy’s programmes.

Visitors are invited to take part in transforming campus spaces with tape, colour, and imagination. Corridors, foyers, and walkways become living canvases, allowing visitors to explore interactive pop-ups and performance spaces. Studios and galleries will host a series of hands-on workshops and demonstrations across art, design, music, and performance, offering immersive experiences that highlight the academy’s dynamic learning environment and vibrant creative culture.

“At NAFA, everything we do begins with our vision to inspire lifelong learning through a transformative arts education, and to nurture bold, creative individuals who contribute meaningfully to society,” said Mrs Tan-Soh Wai Lan, President of NAFA.

Event highlights include:

  • Experiential campus tours across Campuses 1, 2, and 3, with behind-the-scenes access to studios, rehearsal spaces, galleries, and opportunities to meet faculty and students.
  • Consultation services on diploma and degree programmes across Art & Design, Performing Arts, Music, and Interdisciplinary Practices.
  • Hands-on workshops and demonstrations in Fine Art, Design & Media, 3D Design, Fashion, and Performing Arts, allowing visitors to try creative techniques and explore student work.
  • Degree Open Studios providing insight into students’ creative processes.
  • The Art & Creatives’ Market showcasing original student creations, celebrating craftsmanship and innovation.
  • Theatre workshops, contemporary and ballet dance sessions, music showcases, and performing arts presentations offer a glimpse into professional training and creative practice.
  • Interactive experiences such as “Behind the Scenes – Life of an Arts Manager” and “Day in the Life of a Performance Making Student,” offering an insider view of interdisciplinary and arts management practices.
  • President Pop-In: Ask & Discover sessions, giving visitors the chance to learn about the academy’s initiatives and approach to nurturing creative talent.
