We are delighted to announce the official Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing between NAFA and the Singapore Book Publishers Association (SBPA)! This collaboration is set to elevate creativity, knowledge, and innovation in the arts and publishing industry.
As part of this exciting partnership, we are thrilled to introduce the inaugural Singapore Children’s Book Festival (SCBF), which will be held from Friday, 21 June to Sunday, 23 June 2024. The SCBF celebrates local children's literature, promoting homegrown talent in writing and illustration. It also plays a crucial role in preserving and sharing cultural heritage through children's literature, highlighting the importance of illustration in engaging young readers and fostering literacy.
In conjunction with the festival, NAFA and SBPA proudly present the Illustrator of the Year Competition; a platform to discover and celebrate outstanding illustrative talent in children's literature. The top finalist will be awarded with a prize money, and a dedicated showcase during the festival.
