On March 22, Dean of the Faculty of Performing Arts, Dr Ernest Lim and NAFA representatives met with the President of the Central Conservatory of Music in Beijing (CCOM), Professor Yu Feng to strengthen our partnership in nurturing the highest calibre of music professionals.
The NAFA delegation included Dr Nellie Seng, Associate Dean of the School of Music, and Wong Sun Tat, Head of the Chinese Instrumental Studies, together with representatives from CCOM—Li Xiaoman, Secretary-General of the Graded Exam Committee, and Tao Qian, Director of the International Exchange Office.
Both prestigious arts institutions held fruitful conversations to explore new avenues for growth with a strong focus on the emerging interdisciplinary practices in music and artificial intelligence. NAFA and CCOM are committed to enhance its world-class curriculum in music education while continuing to develop cultural synergies between China and Singapore.
