The Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA) proudly congratulates our distinguished alumni Nai Swee Leng and Goh Boon Teck on being conferred the 2025 Cultural Medallion, Singapore’s highest honour for the arts.
- Nai Swee Leng: A master of Chinese ink painting with nearly 60 years of artistic practice, Nai has nurtured countless students, bridged traditional and contemporary ink expression, and helped sustain appreciation for Chinese ink art across generations.
- Goh Boon Teck: As founder and Artistic Director of Toy Factory Productions, Goh has been a driving force in Singapore theatre for over three decades, producing landmark works and continuously pushing the boundaries of performance and storytelling in local arts.
NAFA celebrates both artists for their remarkable artistic journeys, their influence across generations, and their lasting impact on Singapore’s cultural landscape.
