Lianhe Zaobao reported a general rise in demand for short courses as the additional S$500 SkillsFuture Credit approaches its year-end expiry. Among the training providers interviewed, NAFA’s Centre for Lifelong Education (CLE) noted a more than 10 per cent increase in enrolment this year, with strong interest in ceramics, floral arrangement and Chinese ink painting. CLE Dean, Dr Jeffrey Tan, added that short courses provide flexible learning for busy adults, and that the arts help cultivate clearer thinking and creative resilience.
