Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist the Principal of School of Young Talents to provide academic, artistic and administrative leadership and management of School of Young Talents (“SYT”).
  • Participate in the formulation of the strategic direction of SYT and co-lead the implementation of operational and business plans in line with NAFA’s vision, mission and values
  • Plan, monitor and manage budget and optimise the benefits of shared facilities, resources and staff deployment
  • Co-lead and manage the development and implementation of quality teaching and learning approaches and resources, as well as best practices to enhance the learning experiences for the students
  • Create a stimulating, nurturing and safe learning environment that is engaging and fulfilling for all students
  • Actively engage with parents and the community to promote collaborative engagement and partnerships to improve learning outcomes for all student
  • Undertake 4 – 8 contact/teaching hours per week during term time, which could be conducted during weekends


  • A recognised university degree
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in a leadership position with general management experience
  • Knowledge in the areas of educational development or arts education would be an advantage
  • Effective and inspirational leadership and management qualities
  • Passion for educating and interacting with children
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a team player
