The School of Arts Management, Dance & Theatre brings together the faculty and physical resources of the Arts Management, Dance and Theatre programmes to provide a unique partnership across the areas of Performance, Production and Management.

Our well-established conservatory-based training in dance and drama emphasises the cultivation of technique and artistic skills. Students gain relevant hands-on industry exposure and experience (both on and off campus) across and between disciplines.

Frequent public exhibitions and performances throughout the semester provide ample opportunities for our students to gain valuable practice and exposure. The experience gained by our students under the supervision of faculty and industry professionals contribute significantly to our graduates’ future career prospects.

To ensure our diploma and degree courses are relevant and meaningful for today’s graduates, ongoing curriculum developments are discussed and planned with leading industry practitioners from the arts and culture sector.

Since 2010, the School has collaborated with the University of Essex (United Kingdom), home of the East 15 Acting School, to offer one-year top-up honours degree courses in Creative Industry Management as well as in Theatre Arts.
