She is an active member of the Chinese Dance Talent Advisory Panel with the People's Association. Schools which engaged her professional teaching services have won several gold medals at the Singapore Youth Festival Dance Competition.
She has participated in several dance competitions in China and won numerous awards. As a professional dancer, she performed lead roles in mega dance production "San Sheng Mu". One of her signature works was the solo dance production "Song of Dawn".
Zou Yi graduated with Diploma in Dance (with Distinction) from the Zhejiang Arts Academy. She also has a certificate in Classical Dance from the Beijing Dance Academy and a teaching certificate for Chinese Dance Graded Examination.
