See Kia is currently Head of Junior Art at the School of Young Talents. Previously, she has taught the O and A level art programmes in local schools. She has served as co-chairman with the Singapore Youth Festival (Visual Art) and a committee member on the 13-19 Art Prize advisory committee.

During her time at Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA), See Kia introduced the Young Artist Programme (YAP) to hone the painting skills of committed young students with an aptitude for drawing and painting. Although a very new programme, YAP has groomed several award winners and even more competent young artists who continued to pursue Art & Design at tertiary levels.
