Along the five-foot-way, a prominent, traditional, and beautifully carved wooden signboard peeks out from the contemporary - a tad forgotten and unobserved.
Project Signing Out aims to archive and document local business owners, established in the 60s period, that still proudly display their signboards at their shopfront, and take viewers on a journey to relive old-time nostalgic stories.
Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts Design and Media part-time Lecturer, Ms. Tan Ai Khim is the project mentor for this exhibit, together with her students Soh Tang Wei, Liang Hui Xian and Spencer Lam.
