Join the NAFA Wind Orchestra under the direction of Head of Winds Joost Flach, as they present a programme featuring compositions inspired by islands around the world this evening. Bask in the folkloric scenes evoked by Serge Lancen’s Le Mont St. Michel and Haydn Wood’s Mannin Veen. Be enthused by Juan Vicente Mas Quiles’ arrangement of Issac Albéniz’s Mallorca, a quixotic piece depicting regions of the composer’s native land. Last but not least, sway to the rhythm in the Latin-American flavoured Carribean Concerto for band by Kees Vlak.
