HP Tyvek collaboration 2017
The Fashion Studies programme collaborated with Hewlett-Packard (HP) to
adopt and apply the latest HP textile print technology onto students’ creations.
These creations were displayed at an IT trade fair in Beijing, China in May 2017.
This digital print on Tyvek, a paper-like material that can be used for fashion wear,
allowed students to explore thought-provoking possibilities with wearable paper.
Works created by eight Year 3 students from Diploma in Fashion Design were
selected, with support from HP for the creation of the outfits.
