                                                                      Retrospective Exhibition
                                                                      by Fan Shao Hua

                                                                      Born in China in 1963, Fan Shao Hua was trained at the
                                                                      Guangzhou Academy of Fine Arts. Fan later arrived and settled
                                                                      in Singapore in 1992, integrating into the local surroundings
                                                                      and people while drawing inspiration from his new environment.
                                                                      He is known to be highly exploratory in his practice as he fuses
                                                                      Chinese and Western painting techniques and concepts
                                                                      in his works.

                                                                      In this retrospective exhibition, Fan showcased over 60 works
                                                                      spanning his artistic career, including 30 Singapore-themed pieces.
