BA (Hons) Graphic Communication 5.
Cheryl’s showing at Portfolio Night 12 Singapore won her a 6.
sponsored trip to NYC to compete at Portfolio Night All-Stars
creative challenge. Cheryl also competed in the Young Glory
advertising competition, representing TBWA Singapore and
JWT Singapore. She won the Professional Silver and
Professional Bronze awards. She also won the In Book Prize
at the D&AD New Blood Awards 2014.

Raquel Fabienne Ang,
BA (Hons) Graphic Communication
Raquel shone bright at the Crowbar Awards 2014 by
clinching the Best of Show award. Her winning entry entitled:
Dmoji (Social Responsibility) was an interactive application
that was specially developed for Deaf Awareness Week.
The app allows users to pick up basic sign language while
interacting on social media platforms.

Zhao Honglin,
BA (Hons) Spatial Design
Zhao clinched double accolades at the Prestigious
‘Beyond Just Green’ SILA Student Design Awards Competition
2014, organised by the Singapore Institute of Landscape
Architects, with his degree graduation design project:
Bridging The Gap. He was presented with a Gold Award
for the Outstanding Graphic Presentation and a Bronze Award
for the Best Design Showcase.

Nicole Tay Wan Ni,
School of Young Talents
Nicole represented Singapore in the Steinway Regional Finals
Asia Pacific Piano Competition 2014 and clinched the
Third Prize, as well as the Most Popular Pianist Award.
She was the youngest contestant in the Regional Finals.

Chen Xin Yu,
School of Young Talents
Xin Yu was invited by the Singapore Chinese Orchestra to
perform as a soloist in its record-breaking concert, Our People,
Our Music 2014. She won First Prize in the Pipa Youth Category
at the National Chinese Music Competition 2014. She also won
Third Prize at the F J Benjamin - NAFA SYT Music Competition
in 2014.
