School of Art & Design
Peter was named Designer of The Year at the President’s Design
Award, Singapore’s most prestigious design accolade.
The 43-year old multiple award winner has worked with numerous
industry giants and notable brands and his works have been
exhibited at the URA Centre and National Design Centre.

Wendy Chua and Maggio Gustavo,
Part-time Lecturers,
School of Art & Design
Wendy and Maggio are part of local design collective
Outofstock, which designs products, furniture, lighting and
spaces. The collective has received several accolades for their
work, including the Maison & Objet Rising Asian Talents Awards
2015, Concursos de Diseño Interior Buenos Aires 2013,
the President’s Design Award 2010, and the Elle Decoration
Spain’s Young Talent of the Year 2009.

Dr Caren Carino,
Vice Dean and Principal Lecturer,
School of Arts Management, Dance & Theatre
Dr Carino co-edited Evolving Synergies: Celebrating Dance in
Singapore, a comprehensive overview of Singapore’s dance
culture. She was also a recipient of the Friend of MCCY Award
by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth.

Guo Liang,
Adjunct Lecturer,
School of Arts Management, Dance & Theatre
Guo won the Best Supporting Actor Award for his supporting
role in Channel 8’s TV series, ‘The Dream Makers’. He received
the coveted award at Star Awards 2014, the most anticipated
event in the local entertainment scene.

Joost Flach,
Head of Winds, School of Music
Joost has performed with the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra,
Kuala Lumpur Symphony Orchestra, Singapore Symphony
Orchestra and Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra, as well as
conducted workshops and appeared as a guest conductor for
The Philharmonic Winds.
