       Nadav Kander:
       49 Works

NAFA hosted a month-long solo exhibition by Nadav Kander,
a world-renowned contemporary master photographer. Born in
1961 in Israel, the London-based Kander has won accolades for
his photography, one of which is the prestigious Prix Pictet (2009)
for his famed series, Yangtze, The Long River. The exhibition also
featured works from the Chernobyl and Dust series, both powerful
narratives of modern ruin, mortality and human vulnerability.

Quiet and intimate, Kander’s works are an expression of his self and
a reflection of human history. Each photograph is a unique product
of his feelings at the point of capture and framed with his distinctive
2. composition. Each photograph also invites the viewer in and
             allows for their own interpretation.
