Lifelong Learning
Festival 2017
On 11 November 2017, CLE
participated, alongside the
National Silver Academy and
numerous other community
partners, in the Lifelong Learning
Festival held at the Singapore
University of Social Sciences.
NAFA hosted a booth promoting
its courses and conducted a
fashion accessories workshop.
During the event, Vice Dean and
Principal Lecturer, Dance, Dr Caren
Carino and Vice Dean, Teaching &
Learning Unit and Senior Lecturer,
Dr Rebecca Kan gave talks relating to
dance and music.
Supported by SkillsFuture Singapore, SYT’s awards
the Lifelong Learning Festival is an

Masterclasses and Downtown Line
Opening Performance
On 20 October 2017, the String Ensemble was invited to perform at
the Downtown Line Opening at the Expo Station. Two masterclasses
were organised, and conducted by pianist, Professor John Perry

(in collaboration with Steinway & Sons Singapore) and violinist,
Professor Alexander Trostiansky.
