Alumni Curated — A Landmark

           3D Design Exhibition

A milestone was marked on 3 November, when Alumni
Curated, a 3D Design exhibition led by NAFA’s 3D Design
Alumni Chapter, was launched. It was the first exhibition to
be initiated and curated entirely by the alumni, presenting
diverse works by 3D Design graduates from 1993 to 2017.
The event also served as a platform providing valuable
           interaction between generations of artists.

Close to 50 visitors, including participating designers and
NAFA staff, were present at the launch event. We were
honoured to have Co-founder and Chairman of Goodrich
Global Holdings Pte Ltd, Chan Chong Beng with us.
His inspiring speech and keen interest in the designers’
works were very much being appreciated. As a token
of appreciation, Chan was presented an art piece
created by alumna Eunice Lim, who graduated
with a Diploma in Fine Art in 2012. Other
participating designers were each given a
token of appreciation for their participation
           as well.

This first of its kind exhibition ended on
           3 December 2017.

           30 Years

           On 24 and 25 November 2017,
           initiated and organised by the
           Dance Alumni Chapter, 30 Years
           was a full-length dance production
           held at NAFA’s Studio Theatre.

           The production was put together
           by one artistic director, five
           choreographers and 16 dancers, all
of whom are alumni members who
           graduated between 1994 and 2016.
It highlighted the journeys of the
           choreographers and dancers after
           graduation, weaving their different
stories into one, and spanning a
period of 30 years. This event was a
           great success and almost sold-out.
It brought the chapter members closer
           and strengthened the ties between
           the chapter alumni and NAFA.
