WINNERS’ CONCERT
In celebration of NAFA’s 80 anniversary,

the Junior Music department held a winners’
concert on 8 April 2018. It showcased our
young talents who won 79 prizes in various
competitions in 2017. 13 musicians aged 10
to 16 demonstrated their brilliant performing
skills and musical maturity on the piano, violin
and cello.
The highlight of the concert was 11-year-old
violinist Chloe Chua, who won the Joint First
Prize in the Junior Division of the prestigious
Menuhin Competition in Geneva in April
2018. Other outstanding performers included
pianists and Yamaha Young Artists Jem
Zhang Yifan and Nicole Tay Wan Ni.
