FESTIVAL CONCERT
Celebrations On 11 April 2018, our spectacular
Arts Festival Concert opened with
the NAFA Orchestra performing
Debussy’s evocative Prélude à
l’après-midi d’un faune (Prelude to
the Afternoon of a Faun). During the
concert, they also played Brahms’
Symphony No. 2 and presented
a magnificent performance of
Beethoven’s intriguing Choral
Fantasy with the NAFA Chorus.
This was directed by guest
conductor Apo Hsu, with Chen
Yue (NAFA-Kris Foundation Fund
Concerto Competition 2018 Grand
Prize Winner) as piano soloist.

NAFA ARTS FESTIVAL 2018
The eight-week Arts Festival, from 13 April to 3 June,
fostered an appreciation of the arts across all ages
and communities. The myriad of activities catered
to the young at heart, the silver generation, book
