The Stories of Gift at SingaPlural 2017
As part of a seven-week collaboration between NAFA and surface design company
ADMIRA, 26 Year 2 students from Diploma in Design (Object and Jewellery) explored their
own ideas and stories surrounding the concept of a ‘gift.’ The students were guided by
local interdisciplinary design outfit Creativeans to design prototypes of their exploration of
gifts using laminates from ADMIRA. 15 selected works were then exhibited at SingaPlural
as part of Singapore Design Week 2017. The exhibition was very well received by
both industry professionals and general visitors alike.
