HIGHLIGHTS
Naming Ceremony of the Kwan Im
Thong Hood Cho Temple Library
In 2016, the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple made a generous
donation of $5 million to NAFA. Most of this donation will go
towards our infrastructure and capability development. With the
rest of the donation, NAFA will obtain additional library resources
and will support the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Student
Relief Fund and Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Fellowship.
In appreciation of the Temple’s contribution, NAFA named
its library the Kwan Im Thong Hood Cho Temple Library.
NAFA Fundraising
Golf Tournament 2016
On 5 October 2016, approximately 90 golfers joined Guest of Honour
Er Dr Lee Bee Wah at the annual NAFA Fundraising Golf Tournament at the
Singapore Island Country Club (SICC). Many organisations and individuals
made kind donations and this, combined with the dollar-for-dollar contribution
from the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth’s Cultural Matching Fund,
raised nearly $340,000 for the NAFA Development Fund. After the tournament,
guests were treated to a sumptuous dinner and performances from talented musicians
from NAFA’s School of Music. Our heartfelt thanks go to all donors and sponsors for their
generosity and unwavering support.
