SkIllSFUTUrE CrEDIT
From January 2016, all Singapore Citizens aged 25 and above will receive an initial S$500 SkillsFuture Credit from
the Government to pay for the course fees for attending work/skills-related courses. All NAFA diploma and degree
courses are eligible for the subsidy.
All eligible Singaporeans will be able to access their SkillsFuture Credit account via www.skillsfuture.sg/credit once
they receive their account activation letter. This credit will not expire and the Government will make periodic top-ups.
TErTIArY TUITION FEE SUBSIDY SChEME FOr MAlAYS
The Tertiary Tuition Fee Subsidy (TTFS) scheme is an education subsidy for Malay students, which covers their
course fees at tertiary institutions.
Malay Singaporeans and SPRs who are pursuing full-time diploma courses or the Bachelor of Music (Hons) course,
and are eligible for MOE Tuition Grant can apply for this scheme.
The per capita monthly household income will determine the amount of the subsidy that the student is eligible for.
The income criteria is based on a three-tier system where students who come from households with per capita
monthly household income of below S$1,500 will be eligible for the following TTFS subsidies:
PER CAPITA INCOME (PCI) ELIGIBLE SUBSIDY
S$1,000 and below 100%
S$1,001 - S$1,200 75%
S$1,201 - S$1,500 50%
Note:
Computation of per-capita income = Total monthly gross income of family / Total number of family members
