Crossings: Diploma in
Dance Showcase 2014

The annual dance diploma showcase, Crossings 2014,
was held to highlight the talent of our student dancers, where
both Western and Asian inspired dance works were featured.
Purchase College faculty Wallie Wolfgruber and Molly Poerstel,
both from State University of New York, presented two works
which were choreographed with our students during their
concurrent residencies in January. The performance also reprised
James Cousins’ Everything and Nothing, a piece that won him the
top prize in the first ever choreographic competition organised
by the renowned choreographer Matthew Bourne. A selection of
student works from the final year Composition module was also
featured, showcasing our students’ choreographic talent.
