The running track connects all four levels which visitors can use to access different levels. It is introduced here to indirectly promote exercising for all visitors of the space.
By introducing the act of production through urban farming into this space adds on and strengthen the link from production to consumption.
Visitors are encouraged to try out the consoles in this space. This area also promotes interaction between strangers, where some might find new friends of the same interest.
The Virtual Reality (VR) zone are for visitors waiting to get into Experiential Game Zone. It features three rooms with VR operated machine chairs in each room.
A daytime garden café that shelter guests can work when they want to while still keeping their own freedom of time by not tying themselves to a fixed job.
The space transforms into a rest area for the homeless after daytime which shelter guests can now take a rest here for the night.
This area was created due to the lack of group seatings in the located site. With this new space, the older residents can sit together as a group to have casual conversations without having to shout across two far away benches.
The gathering zone is built into a modular unit whereby it can be folded up at night when it is not needed for the night. A space is then created behind the modular unit which then creates a whole new other space.
Behind the movable modular unit hides two murphy beds that can house two shelter guests. Wall partition can be pulled out from the cabinet next to the modular unit to create more privacy between the resting space and the outside.
This area allows the elderly in the morning to do a simple exercise to help charge this modular unit.
At night, the exercising zone is closed up and the shelter guest may use this space to charge their phones.
The café has large ventilation area that allows gardening of crops that can be easily harvested for the shelter guest while maintaining the cafe.
The walk through shows how space transforms according to the needs of the user. Daytime for residents and nighttime for the shelter guests.
