It is with great pride that I extend my warmest congratulations to the graduating cohort of 2026 from NAFA’s Faculty of Art & Design. Grad Expectations 2026 is more than a graduation showcase, it is a significant platform that reflects the creativity, ambition, and evolving practices of our emerging artists and designers.

This year represents an important milestone, bringing together the inaugural graduates of the Master of Fine Arts Fine Art and BA (Honours) Biophilic Design, alongside cohorts from Fine Art, Design Practice, and our diploma programmes. Collectively, your works demonstrate a richness of perspectives and a deep commitment to inquiry, where ideas are shaped through rigorous processes, experimentation, and thoughtful engagement with today’s concerns.

At the heart of your practice lies enduring curiosity and the courage to create what has yet to be seen. As you embark on the next chapter of your journey, I encourage you to remain bold in your creativity, challenge conventions and venture into new possibilities. Above all, strive for excellence with purpose and conviction. Continue questioning, reflecting, and reaching towards your highest aspirations.
