Biography

Simrat Parmar considers herself as a fine art photographer and performance artist. She is currently pursuing her diploma at Nanyang Academy of Fine Art. She has previously studied psychology which has grounded her in art practice, deriving much inspiration

from that perspective. She has volunteered at Affordable Art Fair, S.E.A Focus and Purple Parade. Her work entitled “Unfiltered” was showcased at Gillman Barracks in 2021 as part of the Imagining New Futures exhibition. She has also interned at Little Artists

Art Studio and was responsible for renovating the company's website. Simrat enjoys fronting people as a subject matter in her works and is fascinated by human psychology.
