Biography

Yazid graduated from the Intercultural Theatre Institute (formerly known as the Theatre Training and Research Programme). Yazid also received theatre training in France at the École Philippe Gaulier and also trained under the Singapore Repertory Theatre's youth wing; the SRT Young Company.

He works as an actor, multidisciplinary artist and theatre educator. He has performed in over 30 professional theatrical productions in the last 14 years.

Yazid also teaches theatre. He has taught in various schools locally and abroad including having coached students from National University of Singapore (Temasek Hall) and the National Tainan University. Most recently, he was engaged to teach movement and physical theatre at the Theatre Arts Programme as part of the rehabilitative process of Changi Prison inmates.
