Dear Student,

Welcome to the Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts (NAFA)! It is our great privilege to have you join us.

At NAFA, we view education as an exciting and fulfilling learning journey. During your studies here, you will learn to think critically and creatively, working alongside your lecturers and fellow classmates; you will be offered opportunities that will take your learning beyond the confines of the classroom. We hope that you will strive to do your best and get ready for an exciting career ahead.

The preparation for your career starts from your first day at NAFA. Embracing our core values of Passion, Care and achieving Excellence through the NAFA spirit of Creativity, Exploration and Resilience, we will prepare you well through our quality academic programmes and student-centric teaching and support services.

We encourage you to play an active part in project and group work, study trips, inter-school events and community service. During your time at NAFA, visiting lecturers and renowned speakers will share their valuable experiences through talks, workshops and masterclasses. We encourage you to attend them for a fuller learning experience. You will have the opportunity to participate in the Industry-Based Learning (IBL) programme and pick up valuable industry experience and professional skills.

In the face of the current global pandemic situation, the health and well-being of our students and staff are of foremost priority. We would like to assure you that the academy will take all necessary steps to keep the NAFA community safe and at the same time minimise any disruptions to your education journey.

Travel Declaration for SIN/SPR
Following the Ministry of Health advisory for all Singapore residents to defer overseas travels, we do not anticipate any of you leaving Singapore during this period. However, if you are currently overseas or have plans to leave Singapore from now to 31 July 2020, please complete the online travel declaration form at www.nafa.edu.sg/traveldeclaration by 10 July 2020.

As travel plans may change, please update your travel plans by submitting another online travel declaration form when there is a change.

    For the collection of NAFA Student Card and goodie bag at NAFA Campus 1, please refer to the advisory here.

    The collection point will be at NAFA Campus 1, Wing B, Level 2. Please refer to the Orientation Info-Kit sent to your email for details on the date and time-slot for collection. Do note you will be required to show the email sent by Office of Student Care stating the allocated time-slot before entry.

    Do note for eOrientation online; you are required to observe the Zoom etiquette rules to gain access to the Zoom sessions. Please refer to details here.

  • Student Notebook Subsidy Scheme (For Year 1 Singaporean/SPR Diploma students in AY2020/21)

    The Student Notebook Subsidy Scheme provides financial subsidy to students from the lower-income household to purchase a personal notebook from NAFA’s appointed vendors.

    Application will commence from 1 July till 15 July 2020 (extended to 30 July 2020).
