Surviving in the Concrete Jungle presented five Singapore-based artists with their aspirations and mediums interpreting the worldwide pandemic, featuring relevant social issues such as work-from-home, interaction within public spaces, changing function of living spaces, discourse of working spaces and dynamic shift of emotions. The exhibition’s curatorial framework focused on the response of the artists towards their experience and synthesis of ideas during the pandemic. This is a collaborative project by Fine Art Adjunct Lecturer Gareth Phua, Fine Art alumni Ernest Seah and Grace Angel, and Design & Media alumni Antonius and Cynthie Renata.
