NAFA is proud to support the Sports Medicine Association Singapore for their upcoming annual symposium, Emerging Frontiers: Performing Arts & Esports Medicine, held online on 25 September 2021, 9am to 5pm.
Our very own Ms Lena Ching, Vice Dean of School of Music, will be speaking on Performing Arts Medicine for the symposium’s morning session: https://www.sportsmedicine.org.sg/performing-arts-medicine-speakers/.
The session focuses on patterns of illness afflicting performing athletes, specifically dancers, singers, actors, and instrumental musicians. They will discuss the management of musculoskeletal, neurologic, vocal, and psychological aspects for performing artists.
