Certificate in Infographics

Learners will learn to produce visual presentations that are clear, informative and easy to understand. Learners will understand the science behind good visual communication and learn about various types of infographics and their production processes. They will learn design principles and techniques that will allow them to create engaging and effective infographics, both in static and animated formats. They will be taught to transform a complicated subject into information and data that appeals to their target audience. This course demonstrates how infographics can be an effective digital marketing tool in today’s competitive business environment.

Module 1 – Infographics (Print)
(8 sessions x 3 hours)
Learners will be introduced to the fundamentals of creating infographics as an effective communication tool. Through a series of demonstrations and hands-on exercises, learners will be able to apply the tools and techniques of using vector graphics to create content that is engaging and aesthetically pleasing.

Module 2 – Infographics (Animated)
(8 sessions x 3 hours)
Learners will understand the concept of creating animated infographics to enhance data and information presentation. Through a series of demonstrations and hands-on exercises, learners will create and apply animated infographics to attract the attention of their target audience as well as communicate the desired data and information effectively.
