'Abstract Inspiration: Three recent NAFA alumni artists' at Art Stage Singapore 2016 presents pieces drawn from the inner workings of each artist, who work in different mediums.

Cathrine Lo derives inspiration from the innocence of children and toys, with woodcuts that portray a darker side of humanity and societies. Her art practice took her to Dresden, Germany where she presented in Ostrale 2011, and further refined her craft with a 2016 art residency in Korea.

Koh Chaik Hong who is the Winner of the Young Architectural Photographer Awards, CDL Singapore Young Photographer Awards Competition 2014, and a First Prize recipient of the inaugural Woon Tai Jee Art Prize, struggles with the dilemma between the conservation of nature and urban development, in a photo series.

Emerging ceramicist Leow Wen Jin (Zestro) considers the roles of beauty and function in his delicate Shinto-inspired pieces.
